You didn't think I could do it, did you? Well I just wrote a song using all 23 of your words! Here I am playing it and singing it. What do you think, could it make the Billboard charts? [And for those who missed the previous post, I asked readers to come up with words that I'd have to put in a song. Here's the result!] [Note: Apologies to Vicki who gave the word "kink" and I meant to use it in the second part of the chorus, so please substitute "kinky" for the second "sexy." Thanks!]
For those who want to sing along, here are the lyrics:
YOO-HOO
by Adam D. Roberts and the readers of adamdroberts.com
Don't be persnickety
I'm not a superfluous beefcake
I'm not forecasting aspects of our family meal.
Don't go to Michigan
with a bagel and a bottle of Jack
I'd be blue as a noodle
and purple as Ohio
and randy as an effervescent quack.
Yoo-Hoo
it's me at the piano
Yoo-Hoo
It's me looking sexy
Yoo-Hoo
It's me with antibiotic resistant tuberculosis
Yoohoo, it's me being niggardly
Yoohoo, it's me being sexy
Yoohoo, it's me with my zipper over the rainbow and on the way to Oz.

For a guy with antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis, you did a good job on the crescendo and high note. :D

You are crazy and once again, have made me laugh out loud!

You are hysterical. I seriously almost lost bladder control.

Ok the antibiotic resistant tuberculosis is just hilarious.

Wonderful! I now regret not adding a word when you asked for one.
So, when will you be hosting your own talk show???

.........Wow. That was so hardcore. I like how you started kind of John Linnel, but then moved into the realm of Ben Folds in terms of your musical stylings. You think you'll make this kind of musical interlude an integral part of your blog? That could be pretty groovy. I'm wicked impressed. There are other video bloggers that have done well with that sort of inclusion, most notably (to me anyway), Ze Frank. See "Hindsight," "Anti-Intellectual," and "Throw Up" here: http://www.zefrank.com/theshow/popular.html

ok -- 1st off -- the sampling of somewhere over the rainbow -- brilliant.
2nd off -- i'm not gonna lie -- totally psyched that my word is the title of the song -- i'm feeling a little flattered -- even though it has nothing to do with me. . .i'm going to pretend it does.

Que bueno!
Oh, and I plan to do my bit to make "RAAEQ" the latest in chatspeak. :)

Amazing. I am a little disappointed that you didn't incorporate "Michigan," "Ohio," and "Blue" into one phrase. But it's ok. I guess you don't follow college football!

This is probably the best thing I've seen all week.
An interesting tidbit: Dr. Seuss wrote his classic children's book "The Cat in the Hat" using a mere 223 words, all given to him by his publisher. He created a masterpiece and I think you very nearly did the same. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Yoo-Hoo Pt II!

You could get a gig as a singing chef on the Food Network!
